The State of California has over 540 different jurisdictions so it is no simple task to keep track of each jurisdiction’s CALGreen requirements.

The Building Standards Commission is the state depository for all city code adoption documents. In the past, the State receives and files these documents. Now, the State has created a webpage that posts the CALGreen adoption documents. You can access and research the local codes to determine the necessary compliance level for your project. Also within these depository documents are the local amendments applicable for each city.
