The Los Angeles Laker recently took the time to appreciate an active member in the local sustainability community in order to show their appreciation for the hard and necessary work they do around the clock – The Community Champion Award sponsored by LG Solar. Every month the Lakers choose to herald one lucky individual, and for the month of December 2017, they chose Bo Glover, Executive Director of the Environmental Nature Center (ENC) in Newport Beach. Glover was chosen for his outstanding presence in the field of sustainability as he leads the success of the ENC in their goals of improving “… California’s native plant and animal species, Native American studies, green building practices, and environmental sustainability.”
