Savannah currently oversees VCA Green’s operations and projects. She has over nine years of experience in the energy consulting industry working with building owners, property managers, building tenants, utility providers, government, and school districts. She currently oversees the energy/water/waste benchmarking of approximately 1,400 buildings annually as well as any building performance standards and requirements for compliance with local and state energy and water disclosure laws.
Beyond benchmarking, Savannah has been responsible for the workflow and management of all projects including over 200 ASHRAE Level 1 and Level 2 energy/water audits, energy monitoring, data analysis, ENERGY STAR® building certifications, utility incentive applications and inspections, and the project management of commercial, multifamily, and school building retrofits for various systems including lighting, HVAC, controls, hot water heating, pool equipment, and low-flow water fixtures.
Savannah has extensive knowledge and experience with the City of Los Angeles’ Existing Buildings & Water Efficiency (EBEWE) program since it came into effect in 2017. She has handled the data collection and submission of benchmarking reports to comply with the first phase of the law, and conducted audits, prepared the reports, and processed exemptions required for phase II. She is regularly in communication with the utilities and the city to ensure building owners are meeting the requirements of the ordinance while also advocating on behalf of owners when issues arise.
